Tatiana Yakovlevna Salutrinskaya, was a Soviet composer, pianist, author of methodical literature and many manuals for pianists. Not much is known about her life.
BIOGRAPHY
Tatiana Salutrinskaya was born on 22 October 1915 in Tambov.
Some sources say that her father, Yakov Illarionovich, was a civil servant and taught at the Tambov Institute for Noble Maidens.
Salutrinskaya entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservaroty in 1940 and graduated from it in 1948. She studied composition. She made the arrangements of folk songs. Being the author of methodical literature Salutrinskaya made meaningful contribution to piano pedagogy. A great number of young pianists studied on her teaching aids.
