Löschhorn, Carl Albert

Carl Albert Löschhorn (June 27, 1819 in Berlin – June 4, 1905) was a German composer, pianist and piano teacher. He taught in Berlin. To this day are popular some of his piano etudes, of which the Etude op. 66 No. 22 is best known.
In 1851 he took office as the first piano teacher at the institute. In 1858 he was appointed professor. He was a member of the Masonic wisdom Potsdam Teutonia.
